The American cable and satellite television FX have fired Louis C.K. after the comedian admitted to masturbating in front of multiple women.
The network confirmed it was cutting all ties with C.K., who will no longer receive a paycheck from FX or be listed as an executive producer for the four shows he worked on there. In a statement, the network said :
“FX Networks and FX Productions are ending our association with Louis C.K,” the network said in a statement Friday. “We are cancelling the overall deal between FX Productions and his production company, Pig Newton.”
C.K. had contributed to the series “Better Things,” “The Cops,” “One Mississippi” and “Baskets” with FX. His own original series, “Louis,” which he created and starred in, also aired on FX from 2010 to 2015, the Associated Press reports.
