Ed Westwick has put his plans of engaging his girlfriend, Jessica Serfaty on hold after being publicly accused of rape by two women.
The actor put the plans on hold after sexual assault allegations emerged this week but he is still with his girlfriend despite the allegations.
Westwick denied Cohen’s claims on Tuesday morning, he Tweeted:
“I do not know this woman. I have never forced myself in any manner, on any woman. I certainly have never committed rape.”
A second woman, Aurélie Wynn, accused Westwick on Wednesday of raping her at a house he was renting in LA in July 2014.
On Thursday Westwick posted a statement addressing the second allegation:
“It is disheartening and sad to me that as a result of two unverified and provably untrue social media claims, there are some in this environment who could ever conclude that I have had anything to do with such vile and horrific conduct.”
“I have absolutely not, and I am cooperating with the authorities so that they can clear my name as soon as possible.”
On Tuesday Westwick’s girlfriend took to Twitter to show her support for the actor, writing:
“I know you, I know the truth. Such sadness in my heart. I love your kind gentle soul. Bless.”
She also posted a quote on Instagram on Thursday which read:
“The ability to observe without evaluating is the highest form of intelligence.”
